Must have been a really exciting time! And that photo of your little man looks precious - he is indeed the handsomest. I've been meaning to get my hands on Josephine - it sounds like my kind of read. I just did a list of graphic novels that feature war for Nonfiction Wednesday this week, and the Nathan Hale graphic novel escaped my radar. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.GatheringBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04477710897574769648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2318945445088870128.post-73879841597038530962014-09-01T23:07:45.634-04:002014-09-01T23:07:45.634-04:00Oh what a lovely little guy! I agree that this one was more complex than the others, but still very enjoyable.
I adore Cynthia Lord's other books, so I know I need to read this one.
I have Cleopatra in Space over on my library pile--hopefully I get to read it before it is due!

Happy reading this week :) and have a great time with your kiddos (and YOUR kiddo)!Kellee Moye (@kelleemoye)https://www.blogger.com/profile/11912740016918990989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2318945445088870128.post-89827139907814402732014-09-01T09:07:03.626-04:002014-09-01T09:07:03.626-04:00"My hands are untied and I suddenly feel ligh..."My hands are untied and I suddenly feel lighter."

Isn't that an amazing feeling? I experienced that this year too with my new, shorter commute to work. I used to spend two hours a day in the car at my old school. Now it's less than an hour. I'm finding that extra time I have at home so incredibly freeing!

Congrats on your new job and I hope you have a wonderful school year!
