A Picture Book Christmas

It's my favorite time of year! The decorations, the songs, the sights and smells, the warm scarves and sweaters, and...the books!
My family delights in bringing down our box of holiday stories each year, and it is an absolute must that we keep growing our special collection.

I'm so excited to share with you some new releases from my favorite publishing house family. If you see Candlewick Press, Big Picture Books (Walker Books), or Nosy Crow on a book, you've found a winner! I hope you find a new favorite, I know we have!

Let's start with stories for our littlest loves:

I hope you've found something that intrigues you or pulls at your heartstrings.
And as you're adding new stories to your collection, keep in mind past favorites from Candlewick Press!
Don't ask me to pick a favorite from these previous releases!

  1. The Christmas Eve Tree sounds like a book that embraces the true holiday spirit! Despite just coming out of thanksgiving, it still seems so easy to misplace gratitude and giving when surrounded by all the hustle and bustle.

  4. Thanks, as always, for great book recommendations! Bah! Humbug! sounds like a winner for our early chapter book reader. We LOVED Red and Lulu and Pick a Pine Tree last year. How did we miss Kate DiCamillo's holiday story? We'll have to add it to our list!
