Why I Love It

I've been a fan of Healy's work since the beginning. The Hero's Guide series, the Danger & Mayhem stories, and now No One Leaves the Castle are all filled with female characters that have a lot to say, do, and prove, and he lets them. 

Approaching 400 pages, this novel is one you will spend some serious time with! Thankfully, the characters in this book, like Healy's others, leap off the pages with their distinct mannerisms and personalities. You'll like some, fear some, shake your head at some, and maybe even dislike some, but the who, what, where and when of those feelings might just surprise you.

I thoroughly enjoyed following The Lilac as she and Netta tried to solve crime, after mystery, after murder, after more mystery...through the creepy Castle Angbar. It's so fun to speculate as you go, and being wrong is just as delightful as being right! I hope you enjoy Healy's latest mystery! And warning, you might just crave a cream puff.
